Ali Khatibi (PhD, MBACP) is a Senior Research Fellow now involved with a mental health mission at the Midlands Translational Centre, formerly Deputy Director of the Centre of Precision Rehabilitation for Spinal Pain (CPR Spine), at the School of Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Birmingham. He is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). His research is focused on the redefinition of chronicity through patients’ experience of recurrence and simultaneous neuroimaging of the human brain and the spinal cord.
